Create and/or edit internal deliverables such as company update memos, emails, newsletters and other publications and external deliverables including press releases and presentations. In addition, create speaking points as appropriate.
Assist in the company-wide rollout and adoption of BPC across functional areas to support various reporting and scenario planning needs, including partnering with business owners to define business requirements and translate these into system requirements
The Manager - Operational Accounting is responsible for compilation, reconciliation and reporting of operator financials, including occupancy, revenue per occupied room (REVPOR) and cash flow coverage (CFC). Duties include but are not limited to:
Participate in the development of short and long-term Senior Housing segment strategies, which include variables such as markets, operating partners, investment selection and other variables. Determine/implement financial improvements to drive profitability and sustainable growth.
Collaborate with Development, Capital Asset Management, business segments and IT / Enterprise Systems to identify opportunities to improve productivity through process improvement, automation, and implementation of portfolio management tools.
Forecast and provide recommendations to Senior Management regarding annual and quarterly guidance of key GAAP and non-GAAP financial measures. Assist with required reconciliations of GAAP to non-GAAP metrics.
Collaborate in maintaining and updating corporate compliance documents and policies, including Code of Ethics, Committee Charters, Change in Control Plans, Insider Trading Policy and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Gathers all required data from corporate systems and operating partners for appeal determination. Provides simple analysis to help determine potential appeal opportunities and help disseminate relevant information to consultants.
