Develops market research plan of action, voice of customer survey/interview tools and contact plan. Conducts primary and secondary research to gather data on new product development, technology development and market assessments including customer visits and new to GT potential account cold calls. Recommends external sources of market research data to management.
Works with other VS Managers to share best practice and lessons learned to effectively improve GT operations. Advises management regarding changes in plans, demand and problems concerning all value streams.
Prepare reports on customer contacts, sales opportunities and accomplishments to keep management up-to-date on any pertinent information and activities within assigned accounts to report results and evaluate/set marketing and sales strategies and plans.
Provides input to standard labor cost estimates and supports engineering project teams by communicating optimized process methods and flows, in order to establish accurate standard costs that aid good business decision making.
