Ive worked at facilities all around the country but this is the only facility Ive been at where weve never lost power. That comment was made by a participant during the annual meeting between the Grand River Dam Authority and its industrial customers in mid-February. That participant, a representative of one of GRDAs industrial customers in the MidAmerica Industrial Park, was referring to the reliable reputation of GRDA power. It is something GRDA employees work hard to maintain in MidAmerica, which is home to all of GRDAs industrial customers, including several Fortune 500 companies...

GRDA Chief Executive Officer Dan Sullivan kicked off an annual meeting today with municipal customers with an overview of current projects and issues. Also on the agenda was an update on the construction of the Unit 3 gas plant, along with both ongoing and upcoming electric transmission system projects and the 10-year financial forecast.
