Meet Isaiah. Adopted at 15, now a high school senior and aspiring actor. Hes not throwing away his shot. One day at school, Isaiah was walking down the hall when he heard singing. Auditions for the school production of The Lion King were underway. Isaiah knew he had to be a part of it. He got the part, and when he heard the applause and cheering of the crowd, he knew he was where he belonged. He was also looking for the place he belonged in his personal life. He had been in foster care since age 8 and wanted to be adopted. I wanted to be somewhere I could grow, and be with a family that cares for me, he said. He found that family in Jerry and Dominic, who adopted Isaiah at the age of 15. Isaiah said that with Jerry, Dominic, and his adoptive brother Jason, I felt something different. I dont know why, but as soon as I stepped into the house, I just fell in love with them. Learn more about Isaiahs life after adoption: http://bit.ly/Isaiahs-Story Today, thanks to the support of friends like you, Isaiah is part of our Graham SLAM program, which provides one-on-one coaching and supports to help young people complete high school and college, and launch their careers. Isaiahs Graham SLAM coach is helping him to finish high school this year, and apply to film schools for next year. Check out Isaiahs latest headshot! This Thanksgiving, Isaiah is spending time with friends and family. And what is he grateful for? My parents. My parents being able to help me through hard times. The opportunity to express my career in ways I never thought I could. Thank you to Graham Windham for sticking by my side all this time, and helping me with everything I need for my future. We share Isaiahs words of gratitude with you, for being a part of the community that sticks by his side. Thank you for the role you play in his life, and in the lives of the thousands of children and families you help us to support each and every day. From the entire Graham team, we wish you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving. Jess Dannhauser President & CEO P.S. November is #NationalAdoptionMonth!
