First things first, I love that Grady welcomes and treats everyone from all walks of life. Thats what has kept me here for 16 years patients always come first. Its how I believe it should be, and at Grady, thats how it is. Corporal Paxton Mayes works the night shift as a public safety officer, and says he shows up 1000% ready to serve and protect patients and staff. I love what I do, and I love where I do it. Ive learned so much from my leaders throughout the years and its taken me far. Im proud to serve on the CEO Advisory Council and its an honor to be recognized for simply doing my job. Mayes commitment to excellence and being a champion of Grady Values and Behaviors made him an easy choice for the council. He goes above and beyond to do right every day, and for that, #TeamGrady is truly inspired! #IAMGRADY #GradyProud

"I truly appreciate all the opportunities Grady gave me. I've learned so much from this amazing hospital and what I want to pursue and do with my life. I am forever grateful for all the people I met there who helped me find my path. I will always keep Grady in my heart." Jenny Park volunteered at Grady for almost three years and stood out as a young woman who knew the value of hard work. In the MICU and Burn Unit, Park made it her duty to absorb as much as she could and take advantage of the chance to learn from the medical professionals around her. We knew she was destined for great things. Sure enough in April this year, Park was accepted into the prestigious Johns Hopkins University Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program. She is working closely with a mentor as a research scholar, while participating in professional growth workshops. Park is taking steps to realize her dream of becoming a burn surgeon. She looks back on her time at Grady as formative and irreplaceable. #GradyMade #GradyProud
