Candidate will be responsible for overseeing project budgets and design staff, will be expected to coordinate with clients and reviewing agencies and attend public meetings to obtain project approvals.
The position will report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for work products, employee training and scheduling, project management and will liaison with other managers in regional offices.

Experience in all aspects of highway design, including horizontal and vertical alignments, intersection design, roundabout design, roadside safety improvements, drainage design, stormwater management, environmental site design, erosion and sediment control design, maintenance of traffic plans, right-of-way plans, and preparation of cost estimates and specifications for the purposes of project advertisement.
Experience in the design and drafting of bridge and highway projects, including related disciplines such as storm drainage, storm water management, NJDEP permitting, erosion and sediment control, and maintenance of traffic/sequence of construction.
Performs onsite CI of the contractor's means and methods of construction to ensure compliance with the Owner's plans and specifications; ensures documentation using IDR's, photos, sketches, means of measurement in a clear concise record daily.
