Review and approve airworthiness substantiation data including analysis, similarity arguments, test plans and test reports; review and approve engineering drawings to validate that the design is in compliance with applicable airworthiness code.
This position is responsible for administering property management program activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy.
Interface with design engineers, software engineers, field support engineers, program managers, maintainers, technical writers, and flight crews to coordinate operational or maintenance related work-arounds, improved procedures, software updates, or hardware modifications as required in response to fielded incidents.
Administers property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy.
Identifies contractual issues, develop solutions and provide guidance to management on resolving complex issues while ensuring the contract administration process supports the objectives of the assigned program areas.
Review confidentiality agreements, license agreements and other documentation for conformance to business objectives, company policies, economic conditions, and for compliance to laws and government regulations.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and may present results to project management team and/or management; collaborate across management and project team to expand services and potential business opportunities.
Ensure business leadership and excellence is maintained by managing and participating in the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of the required management, professional, and technical talent.
Lead initiatives to provide Directorate Level business base projections, resource planning and department budgets to support company objectives; ensure overall Business Area compliance with various Business Management process areas.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations; identify and assess project issues and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
Perform analysis of candidate designs to determine the impact to subsystem and system performance; anticipate and report on future Engineering challenges that will directly impact the present and future Engineering objectives of the organization.
Develops and implements company safety programs, including technical documents such as written safety plans, manuals, operating procedures, and other vehicles for communication of safety-related information.
Investigate and review all security violations, preparing reports, and recommending specific preventive and corrective action to be taken; prepare, review, and submit personnel security clearance requests.
