The primary responsibilities for this position are to ensure our guests receive the highest level of food quality and service, manage and develop a team, devise and monitor an annual budget, manage labor control and operating expenses and develop relationships with key suppliers and industry associates.
Working knowledge of labor laws is advantageous and prior human resources experience within a unionized environment is highly recommended. French language competency -- comprehension, verbal and written is required.
Prepare all financial statements accruals and journal entries and maintain reconciliation for all balance sheet accounts in established corporate formats and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
The director oversees a team of engineering and maintenance specialists responsible for all engineering operations for interior/exterior facilities including plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structural, recycling, electrical, ground care and parking areas.
The director of residences will own the development and implementation of property-wide initiatives that deliver products and services that create owner engagement while remaining in-line with the residential entity governing agreements.
The beverage manager in tandem with the director of food & beverage is responsible for the purchasing, stock control and pricing of all beverages for the hotel and its outlets according to the beverage cost guidelines.
