Directs the work of the delegate agency providing on-site social services at the Juvenile Intervention Support Center (JISC) including overseeing process flows, contract compliance, community outreach, and serving as the liaison to the Chicago Police Department and other co-located partners to ensure the established objectives are met.
Represents the department in meetings, conferences, technical seminars, and public meetings to provide input on the City's regulation of building construction through the provisions and requirements of the Municipal Fire Codes.
The Medical Director with other bureau leaders will play a major role in developing and implementing a revitalized strategy for addressing this ongoing challenge. Current efforts to optimize CDPH's STI clinical services will be a component of this strategy.
Ensuring the quality and quantity of service delivery to clients are consistent with targeted benchmarks and best practices; primary focus will be on the customer service and improving the client experience.
Facilitate collaboration with other CDPH programs to maximize the effectiveness of health prevention and promotion efforts and assure appropriate integration of services impacting maternal, infant, child and adolescent health.
Manages professional and clerical staff engaged in budget preparations, purchasing, timekeeping and payroll, personnel processing, record keeping, facilities maintenance, voucher processing and accounts payable functions
Participates in the development of and ensures the effectiveness and efficiency of the agency's investigative operations and ensures that the agency meets its mission to provide quality investigations in a timely manner.
