The Financial Manager provides professional cost management and control through the application of policy, procedure, detailed work processes and best practices to achieve the desired financial results on construction projects.
Assist in development of major proposals, presentations and brochure materials. Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend meetings with A/E, owners to determine the scope of work and required contents of conceptual estimate. Provide conceptual and final estimating and scheduling input on assigned projects.
Review the selection of subcontractors and completion of contract arrangements and review proposed materials and shop drawings from subcontractors and suppliers.
Provide assistance in preconstruction as needed to determine optimal staffing, schedule, labor and equipment needs. Assist in developing goals for all assigned personnel; evaluate personnel and recommend adjustments to enhance career advancement based on performance.
Assists in the preparation of studies, materials and methods, recommendations, and relative cost estimates as required. Coordinate, supervise and review work of assigned personnel to insure accuracy and completeness.
Review preparation and culmination of project estimates and bids, and collaborate with management in selecting and assigning project personnel. Collaborate with the Project Superintendent in overseeing the delivery of materials to the job site or outside storage, and in ensuring that their receipt is properly recorded.

Monitor all daily activities of assigned projects. Provide direction and oversight to the Project Superintendent(s) and/or Foreman as it pertains to their specific project duties. Consult with Project Superintendent(s) and/or Foremen on the daily needs of the following: Manpower, Equipment, Layout, Materials, Sub-contractors.
Assists operations staff in development of project specific Flintco Made Quality Plan which assures the project specific quality control plan is executed per contract.
Collaborate with the Project Superintendent in overseeing the delivery of materials to the job site or outside storage, and in ensuring that their receipt is properly recorded.

Inspect the work of employees and subcontractors to ensure construction conforms to requirements of the Contract Documents, and the quality needed to build repeat business.
Assure accurate completion or all documentation including safety reports, payroll preparation, labor unit report. Conduct meetings with subordinates, subcontractors and others as appropriate in order to inform, coordinate and direct work.
Assist in the development of company marketing plans and goals, and in developing strategy for management client contacts regarding new work, contract negotiation, claims resolution, and future work potential.
Coordinate, supervise and review work of assigned personnel to insure accuracy and completeness. Provide technical support and/or prepare estimates as required. Assist Project Managers during preparation of inquiries and final evaluation of submitted bids and estimate as required.
