This position will be responsible for daily purchasing tasks including but not limited to: maintaining stock levels, viewing open purchase requisitions, creating PO's, building supplier relationships, following up on open orders, and providing customer updates on outstanding purchase orders.
This role is responsible for cultivating a productive, healthy and accident free workplace by establishing and promoting safety policies and coordinating with managers and employees to perform work in accordance with procedures in compliance with regulatory Health, Safety, and Environmental laws and industry standards.
The role will provide results driven leadership to the purchasing, planning, receiving and inventory departments coordinating all related supply chain activities to ensure that cost and value-added requirements are met.
The Organizational Development Manager supports Company in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of employee training and education as well as talent management and engagement initiatives and strategies.
Provides customers and dealers with technical assistance by reviewing specifications and, when necessary, preparing bids and quotations. In addition, assists dealers and/or field sales with strategic product decision and special product requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving the all technical applications related to the design and construction of fire apparatus and other vehicles the company may produce.
