February good in the Italian market Sales continue to growth in the Italian market: positive results for all brands In February, FCA sales in Italy were up 6.9% year-over-year, outpacing the industry average of 6.2%. For the two months year-to-date, the Groups Italian sales were up 9.5%, compared with 8.1% for the industry. All brands contributed to the increase, with sales up 22.9% for Alfa Romeo, 6.1% for Fiat, 5.9% for Lancia and 4.2% for Jeep. FCA continued to dominate the rankings with the Fiat Panda, Lancia Ypsilon, Fiat 500L and Fiat 500 taking the top four positions and a total of five models in the top ten. The year starts positively +15.2% sales in Europe January 2017 In January, FCA sales in Europe were up 15.2% year-over-year, once again outperforming the industry average of 10.1%. Group market share increased to 7.0% from 6.6% one year ago. January sales were up 31.4% for Alfa Romeo, 17.3% for Fiat and 2.5% for Lancia. The Fiat Panda and Fiat 500 continued their leadership in the European A segment with a combined 31.6% share. The Fiat 500L was the best selling vehicle in its segment with a share of nearly 22%. The Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade were once again among the leaders in their segment with a combined 12.1% share. FCA continued to post sales gains Strong sales performance for FCAs leading models, with a total of six ranking in the top ten for the month of January In January, FCA sales in Italy were up 12.3% year-over-year, outpacing the industry average of 10.1%. Market share was 60 basis points higher at 29.3%. Leading the growth were Alfa Romeo and Fiat, which posted respective sales increases of 27.2% and 14.5% for the month.
