The successful candidate will join the Separations and Process Chemistry section, a multidisciplinary group of scientists and engineers conducting fundamental research to investigate innovative system engineering approaches for oil and gas industry applications with emphases on process intensification, separation processes, and model guided process development.
Responsible for identifying long-term improvement opportunities, implementing technologies to improve unit/refinery profitability, leading process development activities for the unit area, participating actively in Networks, and high level monitoring of a specified unit.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of novel computational algorithms for solving large-scale physical problems pertaining to the energy industry, including but not limited to those arising in modeling subsurface phenomena.
A Mechanical First Line Supervisor (FLS) will be expected to deliver supervision for all maintenance work activities on refining / petrochemical piping systems, rotating machinery, and static equipment.
