The Software Engineer will develop software that implements and operationalizes machine-learning and optimization models (developed by various EDF teams) that control the energy management of battery /microgrid projects.
his role is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, automating, performance tuning and troubleshooting database technologies within corporate, development and field operations databases.
Maintaining and revise as needed EDF RE compliance program infrastructure including the administration and maintenance of compliance policies, programs, and procedures related to the NERC CIP Standards.
Work directly with the Asset Managers, Operations and Maintenance personnel, Project Managers and fellow Performance and Reliability Engineering team members to identify, quantify, investigate, report on and correct the root causes of sub-optimal fleet performance and reliability.
Provide and / or oversee the ongoing support for business applications used by various teams including troubleshooting of reported problems, facilitation of cross-functional discussions of related software or business process changes, and end user training support.
In this role you will implement the terms and conditions of the contracts and manages the day - to - day obligations associated with doing so. Have the opportunity to negotiate contracts to mitigate risk and minimize the cost of acquiring technologies and services.
