Eatzis Market & Bakery is a chain of bakery, gourmet takeout markets, and restaurants, created by Philip J. Romano. It was based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, and proposes high end products. Four locations in Dallas remain open. The chains Atlanta, Houston, and Rockville locations abruptly closed in November 2006, while the Chicago location closed in November 2007. Eatzis offered a wide range of specialty breads, cakes, and home meal replacements, as well as wine and cheese. Classical music or tunes by crooners such as Frank Sinatra were permanently played in the markets, with an emphasis on the Four Seasons by Vivaldi. Eatzis was very cautious about competition and didn't allow any photos inside the restaurants.
