Develop and direct patient experience initiatives within the emergency department and collaborate with other areas of the hospital and health system to maximize patient experience within all of DRAH and the health system.
Ensures completion of delegated duties and performance of assigned clinic roles by support staff; provides assistance for support staff when needed during procedures, and completion of assigned duties.
Maintain interface with departmental personnel to coordinate clinical operational activities to ensure adequate staffing, space and facilities, coordination of purchasing, maintenance and renovation activities for the operational areas, administer a program of property management and accountability.
Develop, document, implement and monitor written policies and procedures reflective of the ambulatory health care site mission settlement and objectives; develop and implement processes to enhance clinic operations and practices for ongoing quality improvement.
This position will be focused on coordination of care for the cardiology inpatient service, and the consultative and collaborative interface with cardiac intensivists, cardiology subspecialists and medical subspecialists.
Responsible for the daily functioning and coordination of care for the cardiology inpatient service; develop a high functioning inpatient service with improved outcomes, improved continuity of care and a service that meets the needs of families, consulting services, and referring cardiologists.
Assist with the development of clinical care pathways and program development that address access needs using empirically supported approaches; extensive training in use of the empirically supported interventions and principles of behavior change.
