Develops, in collaboration with the Director, appropriate designs for the evaluation of identified potential new services opportunities to include determination, acquisition, statistical and other analysis, interpretation, reporting and predictive modeling of key external commercial and internal data.
Develops, maintains and reports key performance for the department to include denial rates related to medically unnecessary admissions, Observation, one and two day inpatient stays; use of administrative days, and outliers etc.
Provides training for the staff on appropriate clinical interventions and develops clinical performance evaluation guidelines. Prepare report of staff clinical interventions quarterly in spreadsheet format to the director.
Provides in-service orientation, continuing education, and refresher training to clinical and non-clinical personnel. Provides instruction regarding a variety of topics to include policies, procedures etc.
