Develop and design new prototype devices. This requires a familiarity with the software robotic operating system, system design and integration as well as linear/non-linear control system design techniques.
Lead a cross-functional engineering / technical team through the complete development cycle to invent, design, develop, and release to manufacturing medical devices, primarily medical therapeutic or diagnostic systems.
Significant design and engineering responsibilities, including concept development, detailed design and analysis, release and verification for component and assembly design, determining manufacturing methods, FEA, DFM, and DFA.
The candidate will be part of a team designing and implementing medical applications on iOS and Android platforms. Your applications will be a critical component of a large, highly scalable cloud-based system in the medical devices space.
Work with cross-functional team to architect software test design strategies, including identifying and leveraging appropriate test tools, for a sophisticated system that incorporates robotics, artificial intelligence, and cloud capabilities.
