""From a very young age, I have been driven towards communication which is a vast domain. I definitely made the best decision by choosing the BA (Mass Communication) at Curtin University as it changed my life. The course I chose gave me exposure to the broadcasting world as well as the field of marketing. Both majors have countless career opportunities and the quality education we receive is priceless. I chose Screen Production because the world that exists on and behind camera has always been something fascinating for me. To be able to talk and convey emotions through words on screen is something incredible that I would love to do on a global platform. My dream is to work at the BBC studios one day as a TV host and Curtin University gives me the tools, the knowledge and the motivation to go for this dream! Live your passion has always been my motto and with the endless opportunities that Curtin University has given me up to now, I cannot wait to see what is coming next! #masscommunication #broadcasting #marketing #tv #university #curtin #curtinlife #student #humansofcurtin

""I enrolled in agribusiness because I grew up on a farm in Beverley, and I thought I wanted to go into that area, but did a semester and I didnt like it. I withdrew from university for a couple of years and went and worked with the Kulin Shire in the eastern Wheatbelt. Part of my role involved talking to travellers, mostly grey nomads, and telling them about places to visit and listening to their stories. The Kulin Shire is made up of people who are really passionate about their community and promoting its unique icons and events, like the Tin Horse Highway and the Kulin Bush Races. They really inspired me to follow that type of work. So then I decided to have another go at uni. I did a marketing unit and just really enjoyed it. Im so glad I found it this way. I just love that marketing gives you scope to be both analytical and creative. Its got that variety within the one profession."" #agribusiness #travellers #tinhorsehighway #kulinbushraces #marketing #university #curtin #curtinlife #student #humansofcurtin

""Im really interested in human physiology and the field of health and so I wanted to pursue a course that encompassed both. I felt physiotherapy was a good fit. Its tough but its enjoyable and rewarding at the same time. My favourite aspect so far has been massaging the patients and getting into a real-world physio setting. Many of my friends are physiotherapists who work for professional sports teams, and thats kind of the ultimate goal. The course wasnt what I was initially expecting. It has more biological aspects and obviously theres human anatomy, but it goes in deeper. Persist and challenge yourself, and youll find it very rewarding."" #physiology #health #university #curtin #curtinlife #student #humansofcurtin
