Review and evaluate performance of the various functions, address performance gaps and take corrective action as needed to ensure the warehouse and transportation teams are delivering on safety and security goals.
Develops and delivers presentations to various senior level executives professional peers and communicates with colleagues, management, and C&S business unit(s) on requirements, problems, project status, and issues.
Create high customer service expectations among team members; monitor results with customers to ensure performance is meeting expectations and take action to correct performance gaps and/or address improvement opportunities.
Identify ER trends and apply learning and root-cause analyses to design, develop and deliver effective recommendations and sound business solutions working in collaboration with HR, legal and business leaders.
Prepare operating budgets for the fleet, review and finalize operating budgets with the transportation operations manager, and develop and implement work processes to ensure achievement of budgetary and service goals.
