Today we celebrate Joy Confer's 30th anniversary at Kane Hardwood. Some may recall a recent post about Joy who is an equipment operator in the log yard at Kane. Joy began her career in the dimension mill and also worked in the sawmill before transferring to the log yard about 10 years ago. Congratulations Joy!

Each year, WWPA (Western Wood Products Association) identifies individual certified graders with high grading proficiency over a yearlong performance schedule and provides this information to participating mills. This is a grader recognition program specifically, and recognition is not easy to achieve. Congratulations to our Lumber Grader Robert Morris (on left) for receiving the WWPA HI-Q award for the year of 2016. Steve Ackey our QC is presenting the award. Good job and keep up the good work Bob! #CollinsPineinChester #CollinsWood #WWPA #doinggoodwork *photo courtesy Robbie Gillen
