In honor of International Womens Day, we celebrate Women from all over the world who continuously fight for a better society, whose knowledge and persistence is pertinent to the function of humanity, and who never stop inspiring. Women are the backbone of our families, our cultures, our existence and we as a society must strive to create suitable, equal, working environments and pay for all women. In this rapidly evolving world where globalization and technological advances are becoming the backbone of our highly industrialized work climate, labor is crucial to economic prosperity. However, labor informality, income inequality and human rights issues within the workforce is at an all time high. International labor issues affect women everywhere, because they are all rooted in gender inequality. Achieving gender equality in the workforce is imperative for sustainable development and for the future of our society. Today, #CHCI asks you to pledge against gender inequality in the world of work and to continue to live on the #RightSideOfHistory by promoting the successes and breakthroughs of #Women all over the world. Take a look at The United Nations statement on International Womens Day and the importance of equality for women in the global workforce. #WomensHistoryMonth #InternationalWomen #Womenintheworkforce #CHCI Link here: http://bit.ly/19tnmnz
