Congratulations to Kimberly Kuhlman, RN, recipient of the 2017 Everyday Hero Award. The Everyday Hero Award has been established to honor members of our hospital family who exemplify the care and dedication for which Chester County Hospital is known through their service within the hospital and our community. Kimberly was nominated for her continued dedication to helping those in need. In 2016, she traveled to Transnistria region of Moldova to help the forgotten orphans ravaged by economic and political sanctions. She collected donations prior to her departure and ran a Bible Vacation School camp for the children. The mission trip was also able to leave funds for improved lighting and a new playground for the children. In addition to this, each year Kimberly and her family host music festivals for cystic fibrosis and cancer. She has raised over $100,000 for Cystic Fibrosis and last year, due to her leadership, was able to donate $3,371.00 to THON.
