Here's a healthy diet tip that has nothing to do with what you eat. Eat slowly. It takes 20 minutes for your brain to register that you are full. Combine this tip with eating more vegetables and fresh fruits, plus at least three ounces of whole grains (oats, brown rice, rye, crackers, whole-wheat pasta) every day, and plenty of fluids like water, low-fat, nonfat milk or low calorie or diet beverages. For smarter eating, listen to your brain.
