On Saturday, March 4, 2017, Brock employees participated in the 30th annual ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run. Each year, ConocoPhillips presents the Rodeo Run, which donates participants entry fees to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Educational Fund. Since 1988, the run has donated more than $4.8 million to the Houston Rodeo, providing college scholarships to Texas high school students. For many years, Brock employees have participated in the Houston Rodeo Run, said James Alexander, director of compliance. I am extremely proud of every employees commitment to contributing to our annual 'Bwell' event, and I look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come. On January 15, 2017, the Brock/ExxonMobil Baton Rouge site achieved 6 million OSHA free safe work hours. Brock started the MSA contract in Baton Rouge in June 2010, and has completed 6 million hours since the last recordable injury in November 2011. During this time, the site has successfully performed 3 PCLA CAT Cracker Turnarounds, a Hydrocracker rebuild, an Alky rebuild, and many other outages and projects. This milestone shows the site's commitment to the safety of our people, and the foundation Bsafe provides for our culture of respect and caring. "We are extremely proud of this accomplishment," said Project Manager Jeff Paxton. "I have high expectations that Brock leadership will continue to work hard to achieve the next milestone as we drive towards a truly incident free workplace." http://bit.ly/1OAemTi
