Meet Chio, a Partner in our Sydney office. ""One of the key reasons why I joined Bain was to have an international career - and it sure has delivered! I started straight out of undergrad in our Dallas office, but was staffed in Latin America for my first 2 years. A subsequent 6-month transfer to Australia exposed me to what would later become home. A few years later, the Australian office sponsored me to get an MBA at INSEAD, and I then spent a year in France, Singapore and Tanzania. A couple of years after returning to Australia, my husband and I were looking for our next life adventure, and we moved to Johannesburg. We had a fantastic 2 years there, establishing the different set of skills required to be effective in developing markets and seeing a lot of what the continent had to offer. These years have also been peppered with multiple global trainings in several exciting cities, where I have significantly built my global network - the adventure and the learning never stop!""

Meet Bain alumna, Emma Gray. Emma is a Chief Data Officer at ANZ (Australia and New Zealand Banking Group) I joined Bain, because I wanted a broad business perspective. I wanted to spend time not just on the numbers, but the why behind them which is really what makes a business tick. Another highlight was the thought and care afforded to me by the Bain community, who lifted me through the early kid years when it was sometimes hard to juggle life. It takes a Bain village. Since leaving Bain I''ve relied on my ability to listen carefully, and to synthesize. Drive to the ''so what''. My advice to recruits is to join Bain! Get a diverse experience set across multiple industry sectors. Learn from your clients. Move around to different geographies! Find your mentors and lean on them when you need to.
