Paul Whatley has joined Asbury Automotive Group as Market Director for our stores in Jacksonville and Ft. Pierce. Throughout his 26-year career in the automotive retail business, Paul has held nearly every position in a car store. Pauls strong experience having worked across the store disciplines, then as lead owner/operator, and finally as a large automotive group market area vice president, will make him a great asset to Asbury. He is excited to move to Jacksonville and roll up his sleeves with the store teams and DSC to continue our growth path. Please join us in welcoming Paul to Asbury.

Every year for the last 12 years, Courtesy Toyota has raised funds through their team members for a children's home, the Family Ministries of Florida. This year, the dealership raised its biggest amount ever over $15,000 for children! The majority of the funds were raised by Courtesy Toyota Team Members. They also spread the word to vendors the dealership works with and others within Asbury. Over $3,000 was donated by people outside of Courtesy Toyota. The money raised was used to buy personalized gifts for each of the children from wish lists that the home provided. Some of the funds will also be set aside to buy birthday gifts for the children throughout the year. General Manager Chris Seminaro said, "Being generous often consists of simply extending a hand and this year, the employees of Courtesy Toyota and our vendor partners really embodied the spirit of giving. The monetary donations far exceeded expectations by all, but it was the generosity of time by the employees that truly impacts these children each year. It's humbling to see so many folks give their all, yet walk away feeling as if it cost them nothing." Two new Toyota Tundra trucks were used to haul the gifts into the front entrance of the dealership, where lunch was served. The children each introduced themselves, their age, and what they want to be when they grow up. By the professions that were given, most children want to be civic minded and service oriented adults and Batman, of course.

The David McDavid Team at Honda of Frisco has consistently delivered outstanding results throughout the year in 2016. General Manager Sonia Heredia has been leading the Frisco Team since February 2014 and the team has done a wonderful job. "The store's success is the outcome of a team that works incredibly well together. One person can't make it happen alone. This team happens to care about what they do, they care about customers and they care about the people they work with," says Sonia. The David McDavid Honda of Frisco Team recently won a Master Circle Award, President's Award and the Council of Excellence Award by Honda. Service Advisor Greg Vonreaden says, "We are proud of the work we do, so we get to brag about our awards as well. Being one of the very few Honda stores in the nation to receive awards such as these means we did something right." Service Director Buddy Mays said, "I'm so proud to be a part of a team committed to excellence and puts customer satisfaction as their top priority. This allows us to continue to grow and succeed." Sonia says, "This has been an amazing year for us thanks to our employees and customers. I'm happy to say their hard work has paid off. We have higher goals for the new year and I'm confident our employees will do their best to achieve success!"

Asbury recently opened a brand new collision center in the Stonecrest area of Atlanta. Nalley Collision Stonecrest allows customers to enjoy a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide the utmost in car repair care. The new facility provides over 31,000 square feet of the most up-to-date repair technology available as well as services and amenities, such as a comfortable customer lounge to make the repair process as smooth as possible and increase customer experience.
