""Yesterday, we presented traditional drums to a group of women who came together to support each other including coming together to share dances and songs from their four different tribes. They are proud of where they come from and even more proud of the peace they have in their group. We all danced, sewing seeds of happiness that all of us hope will grow and grow. It is up to all of us to nurture and protect this kind of joy and hope, to do what we can to grow it through determination, hard work and peace. So grateful to learn this from these amazing women!"" - Brent Love, Roving Correspondent, writes on his last day at Bidi Bidi Refugee Settlement in Uganda, currently hosting about 270,000 South Sudanese refugees.

According to UNICEF, 70% of children in South Sudan aged 617 years old have never set foot in a classroom. The completion rate in primary schools is less than 10%, one of the lowest in the world. ARC Sudan''s Administration and Human Resources Manager, Arafa Sheikmusa, recently organised the donation of 500 story books to recently arrived South Sudanese children living in Kario Camp, so that they can continue to learn despite their harsh situation. Get in touch at arcrelief.org and help us provide Arafa with further support in Darfur. #education #arcrelief
