Libby is a former intern from the 2016-17 Project SEARCH program. Despite her disability, she is one example of how #InclusionDrivesInnovation here at AnMed Health. The Project SEARCH High School Transition Program is a unique, business-led transition program designed to provide employment and education opportunities for students with developmental disabilities, particularly youth transitioning from high school to adult life. AnMed Health has partnered with the school districts of Anderson County, the Anderson County Disabilities and Special Needs Board, and SC Vocational Rehabilitation to bring Project SEARCH to the Anderson community. October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). #NDEAM celebrates the contributions of workers with disabilities and educates about the value of a workforce inclusive of their skills and talents. All month well be highlighting AnMed Health employees and interns who reflect how #InclusionDrivesInnovation.
