The Senior Research Scientist II is an expert process chemist with extensive knowledge in developing processes and technology transfer. Design, synthesis, optimize and transfer a process to large scale production.
Use a broad spectrum of practical laboratory skills as needed; including advanced methods of purification of solvents and reagents, running reactions under anhydrous and oxygen free conditions, and using advanced methods for isolation/purification of sensitive materials.
The primary purpose of the Senior Process Engineer position is to design, implement and continuously improve chemical manufacturing processes using appropriate chemical engineering and scientific principles.
Develop strategies to optimize production processes with respect to yield, quality, throughput, cost and minimization of waste streams. Implement programs as required to optimize processes and resolve issues.
