Join us next Tuesday, March 7, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for a supermarket tour at Giant Eagle in Logan Town Centre! Entitled "Don't Put It on the Table Until You Read the Label," this tour will guide you through the grocery store, showing you how to shop smart and follow a nutritious diet. Led by UPMC Altoona clinical dietitian Megan Schall, you'll learn foods to look for, foods to avoid, and how to decipher those nutrition labels. Become a savvy consumer who chooses healthy and nutritious food for you and your family. Tour size is limited. Registration required; priority given to those who did not previously take this tour. The Frontier Girl Troop 213 of Cambria County presented a treasure chest of clothes and toys to infant Angela Beard and her parents Vanessa Jones (seated, holding Angela) and Adam Beard. With the family is UPMC Altoona Maternity/Nursery registered nurse Kathy Bost. Frontier group leader Lori Shaw and troop member Angela Beiswenger made the presentation in recognition of Baby Angela being a baby girl born closest to Jan. 19, the national founding day of the Frontier Girls.
