The purpose of this role under general direction of the Controller for the business unit is to assist in the day to day accounting duties for the business unit. These roles will include (but not limited to) month end closing, fixed assets, account reconciliations, expense analysis and special projects.

Responsible for increasing sales and profit margins by presenting the company's various medical product lines to new prospects and existing customers by both explaining and demonstrating Airgas's products and services further emphasizing the benefits matched to customer need.
Responsible for the initiation, coordination, and fulfillment of the complete, specialty gas sales cycle including sales calls, needs analysis, preparing sales proposals, order entry, product sourcing, product delivery and, if applicable, complaint resolution.
Manage the Sales department of Scott Medical Products, a business of Airgas that supplies Medical Device and Drug packaged gases globally (such as anesthesia or blood gas calibration, ophthalmic gases, ultrasound contrast agents, etc).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, self-starter, self-motivated, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized, ability to achieve goals, ability to focus and pay attention to detail.
Develop, coach and direct the efforts of the branch manager, inside sales staff and outside sales staff to achieve sales and profit performance goals. Review call reports and dashboard (sales data) of assigned sales personnel regularly and offer feedback.
