The Principal Systems Engineer for Intravascular Imaging is responsible for integrating multi-discipline inputs and outputs in order to create and manage the development of complex software controlled electro-mechanical ultrasound imaging based products and technologies.
Provide design support for new product development teams creating electromechanical products for the medical device industry. Performs specified electrical engineering support activities such as design and test of electrical circuits, motor control devices, sensors, switches and other electrical equipment components.
Support compliance to Regulatory Requirements including electromagnetic interference/electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), REACH/RoHS and other environmental standards.
The Principal Engineer is responsible for leading R&D and sustaining efforts for Physiology related catheter products. This position will be responsible for understanding the product roadmap, developing ideas for solutions, understanding and following product development and design change processes, and providing technical leadership for all catheter related projects within the Physiology modality.
