Monitor new technologies, industry trends and standards, and government regulations to help develop strategies to create new products, to introduce complementary product s, or to upgrade current products.
In this role, you will be responsible for writing hardware and software specifications, performing confirmation testing on the actual car and simulator, troubleshooting and fixing related problems, writing and presenting reports, working with component suppliers and other departments to resolve technical issues, researching new technologies and market trends, and making proposals for future products.
Collaborates with developers and clients to develop precise business logic; participate in the training and support of lesser-experienced programmers; assist the programmer in interpreting and implementing departmental standards and guidelines.
Act in a consultative fashion and are looked to as an expert, or trusted technical advisor, in your field by the account team and customer; collaborate with the Account Manager to recommend and develop appropriate customer solution offerings.
The candidate will support engineering projects that involve design, analysis, testing, fabrication, and troubleshooting of electronic, mechanical, computer, and network components, subsystems, and systems that will be used in commercial and military environments.
In this role, you will provide applied engineering and technical consultation for customers in the areas of power systems studies, power quality analysis, installation, startup, maintenance, repair and training.
Ensure all design documentation is maintained and provided to the Contact Center engineering and support operations groups. Ensure any operational changes are well documented and communicated to support teams when new software updates are certified for production.
