This position will monitor OSHA regulations with regards to Chemical Manufacturing Personnel Safety. Lead safety culture improvements via expertise in Safety Leadership / communications / Marketing in order to advance the safety culture and create best in class safety performance.
The selected candidate will be responsible for site/business EHS deliverables and communicating incidents across the site.Responsible for the Emergency Response readiness and capability of the site (connected as corporate IER hub).

The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager will manage and coordinate all activities and programs associated with environmental regulatory compliance and employee safety in the manufacturing plant. The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for safety training, emergency preparedness, while promoting workplace safety, as well as employee health awareness and their compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop an Audit Procedure/Protocol for assessing the facilitys compliance with OSHA requirements pertaining to the Physical Manufacturing Areas (based on use). Conduct Physical Audit Inspection on a periodic basis (annually or every 2 years) and document results in form of a report with any recommendations or concerns.
