In this role, you will be responsible for testing the database logic, quality, performance, workflows and reports ensuring they meet the business requirements and acceptance criteria prior to release and after release into user facing environments.
The Quality Engineer will drive the quality assurance activities in the manufacturing plant. Work with multi-functional teams to develop and implement quality initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
Performing all testing activities for initiatives across one or more assigned projects, utilizing processes, methods, metrics and software that ensure the quality, reliability and systems safety and security.
In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to the establishment of and meet quality goals and objectives for the project; proactively engage in the end-to-end software testing cycle as it pertains to the project.
The Quality Engineer will provide manufacturing leadership with comprehensive quality support related to process and product specifications meeting customer requirements, business, quality and environmental standards.
Identify and initiate research for any reported issues and perform root-cause analysis of any identified trends and issues; compile well-supported quality conclusions using quantitative and qualitative data analysis and results, and effectively communicate recommendations to key stakeholders.
Analyzing application/testing requirements, implement automation solutions for automated testing of applications/products. Designing, developing, maintaining and executing automated/manual test scripts.

The Quality Engineer will work closely with all functional groups within the plant to design and implement quality assurance programs and procedures.
The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
Drive plant wide corrective and preventive action activities (using 8D, A3, and similar methodologies) with special emphasis on evaluation of returned customer product and leading corrective action teams to determine solutions to permanently eliminate root cause.
