In this role, you will provides medication therapy management including examination of member medical records, performing a comprehensive medication review and communicating with members and providers, including outbound calls to members to discuss their medications.
In this role, the successful candidate will oversee operations of the Pharmacy Department including customer service, profitability, investment control and compliance with federal, state and local, laws, regulations and Company policies and procedures.
The selected candidate will handle customer issues such as customer complaints and questions regarding insurance coverage. Interact with physicians and utilize reference material to gain information on customers and prescriptions and to resolve any issues that arise.
In this role, the selected candidate will review medication orders for appropriateness of therapy as related to age, weight, and diagnosis; monitor patient profile for drug-drug interactions and potential medication allergies.
