Supports Global Sustainment Program Integration lead for Lighter-than-air (LTA) sub-market segment. This position provides Sustainment and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) project management support to ensure Sustainment products and services are developed and delivered per contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience in Automated Liquid Filling machine packaging engineering role in Food industry; knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improve, and 5S principles.
Investigate component cost and weight reduction, and conduct feasibility for packaging electrical components and brackets throughout the vehicle as well as managing development projects, negotiating development & purchasing strategies, and coordinating with other departments, suppliers, and manufacturing.
Develop control system design drawings, control sequence of operation descriptions and equipment operating procedures, bills of materials, and be the primary electrical/electronic controls contact person in support of technical assistance in the installation, operation, and maintenance.
Provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients. This may include performing and/or leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations, design and development of plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and the writing, preparation, and review of related reports for the services provided.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
Responsible for the development and implementation of computer controlled manufacturing processes ( such as foundry furnaces, dip lines, autoclave, etc. ), and for assuring the accuracy and reliability of those processes.
Analyze loss over the course of the project and ensure that lessons learned are captured and included in the project and stage gate process to ensure loss elimination and best practice integration in future projects. Ensure a collaborative approach with appropriate pillar team involvement and shared learning.
