As a Technical Analyst in Digital Business and Data Services, you will have responsibilities that include technical analysis, writing functional/technical stories, producing interface specifications and testing related to the middleware component of Digital initiatives.
Perform requirements gathering/elicitation and analysis in order to understand current state processes, complex business rules and desired future state; ensuring that the context and implications of the changes are identified and understood by the business and the project team.
Develop and manage business analysis phase/stage plans (i.e., major activities, activities, tasks, milestones, schedule, resource allocation); lead and direct small, medium and large business line teams in medium to large projects.
The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for working directly with company lines of business to identify, define, document and prioritize requirements of information systems of various size and complexity for assigned projects.
Write detailed User Stories & identify specific, measurable/testable acceptance criteria. Creates detailed functional specifications and data models for development of new products or modifications to existing products & definition of detailed test plans.
Acts independently or with limited direction. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, develops or modifies the most complex information systems. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system log difficulties as necessary.
The Business Analyst effectively facilitates the gathering, analysis, prioritization and categorization of complex business requirements in the revenue business lines s/he supports; leads and directs business teams in medium to large projects creating new business solutions or enhancements to existing business solutions.
