In this role, the selected candidate will perform special testing/procedures such as tracheostomy care, tube feeding, endotracheal, nasopharyngeal or gastric suction, bladder catheterization, moderate sedation, emergency cardioversion and intubation.
The Registered Nurse - RN will work with 5 Oncologists. Responsibilities include: IV hydration, Access Ports and PICC lines for draws and flushing, administer injections for Oncology patients, follow up calls to high-risk patients.
The selected candidate will provides safe and effective delivery of home dialysis training and education to patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) who have selected a home modality as a dialysis therapy.
This position independently performs the nursing process through individualized assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of safe, therapeutic, efficient care of patients with overt and subtle needs throughout the continuum of care, according to units standard of care.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide direct patient care that is goal directed within his/her scope of practice; work cooperatively with patient case manager and all members of the interdisciplinary team including physicians, and other internal and external customers to ensure optimal patient care.
