Responsible for helping assess product stability and organizational readiness prior to product being declared generally available. Manage end of life plans to migrate products and services out of the GCS portfolio.
Under direction, provides professional and project management expertise in the direction of highly unconventional projects requiring multiple technical units and/or subcontractors, heavy regulatory agency involvement or extremely complex technical requirements.
Responsible for a broad spectrum of duties, covering all aspects of project management, including project planning, cost management, cost estimating, time/labor management, quality management, contract administration, and safety management.
The SPM will manage to a fixed price budget, perform to a program schedule to meet delivery dates, and lead a team to resolve technical and administrative problems associated with the assigned work package, for products provided by suppliers. For LRIP, the work package will include digital and/ or RF Hardware Configuration Items (HWCIs) with responsibility for supplier production management from proposal through to product delivery.
Work closely with Foreman, Detailers, Estimators, and Purchasers to ensure delivery on projects; manage medium and large HVAC/Plumbing Projects, which includes: schedule, budget, code requirements, and change-orders.
Ensures wing-to-wing execution of projects to deliver quality outcomes to internal & external customers. Strategically partners w/ functional product owner to define features backlog & requirements, works w/ team internal & external to the initiative to ensure timely outcomes delivery, within scope & budget & of desired quality.
Leads the team to prepare for Phase Gate and other Go/No-Go decisions by executive leadership, ensuring that decisions are informed by a balanced and clearly articulated representation of the relevant data.
