The HRM advises employees and leaders regarding policies and procedures, relevant laws and regulations, and makes or recommends appropriate decisions with regard to human resources matters in such areas as employee relations.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for management of various aspects of Human Resources supporting employees and management staff in the SL Business Unit. Will design, plan, and implement human resources programs and policies to include Talent Acquisition, On-boarding, Benefits, Payroll, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Compensation and Legal Compliance.
Counsel managers on how to constructively engage employees to resolve employee relations issues. Review and edit written documentation to address corrective action requirements. Moderate escalated employee/ manager situations and participate in final warning meetings. Engage corporate legal counsel when situations suggest legal risk.
Provide accurate and timely HR information to clients, employees and management of the company; assist with the implementation of services, policies, and programs and assists company managers with HR issues.
