The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
This specific team primarily handles production line issues, failure investigations and design projects for quality, manufacturability and cost. This role is part of the Product Focused Team supporting Pyxis Products.
Work in a multi - disciplinary group with other Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Control Engineers, Software Engineers and applied physicists to produce designs and prototype hardware for internal and external customers.
Create an integrated schedule and an engineering development plan. Candidate will then lead the execution of the development plan. Candidate will be directly responsible for cross functional efforts including hardware/software integration, lab resource and configuration management, transition to production, and customer product integration. Candidate will be the primary customer interface for technical, integration, and support issues. Candidate will also support business development activities including proposal efforts and research/development of new technologies.
The candidate for this position is expected to optimize power in the Intel Modem for 2G/3G/4G LTE PHY layer. The Modem power Engineer is expected to have a good understanding of 2G/3G/4G LTE PHY layer, and its interface to the digital baseband modem.
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Responsible to establish ongoing relationships with the technical personnel within the customers organization. Leads multi-disciplinary teams to develop cost estimates, scopes, project requirements and schedules. Responsible to manage and track multiple concurrent projects.
