Qualified candidates must have excellent organizational, research, communication and writing skills. Candidates should have extensive experience in handling cases from inception through trial and have at a minimum 2nd chaired a trial.
In this role, you will be responsible for
managing direct reports and their subordinates; coaching, mentoring and supervising regional managing attorneys and their legal staff. Significant responsibility for ensuring that the team is appropriately trained and supervised, as well as maintaining a presence that establishes the company's reputation.
In this role, you will be responsible for the business on regulatory, billing and reimbursement, Medicare/Medicaid and federally funded heath care programs, HIPAA and privacy, and healthcare fraud and abuse matters.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide legal counsel to Insurance Company Management on diverse legal issues, including coverage advice to the claim department, review of proposed settlement agreements and review of contracts, etc.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience in reviewing, investigating, and managing claims related to environmental, toxic tort, catastrophic injuries, construction defects, molestation or similar to advise on severe commercial general liability claims.
This support includes supporting other in-house attorneys in the acquisition, development, construction and financing of major energy infrastructure projects, and the drafting and negotiating of documents with respect to such transactions; focusing on project acquisition, development and financing.
This position requires excellent writing ability, demonstrated investigative skills, and experience in written discovery are required. A background in plaintiff's litigation, consumer protection, products liability, class actions, or complex litigation.
