The Senior Cisco Engineer will work with network operations and performance management to include the oversight of the operational support and services provided by telecom carriers. Will use network/application performance management tools to troubleshoot, analyze, test and provide recommended solutions for performance problems. Provide analysis of WAN configuration and routing, desktop and LAN configurations.
The purpose of the role is to optimize the operation and reliability of automation and control systems by driving standardization and implementation of best practices, identifying and realizing process technology improvements, and improving operational knowledge.
This position will develop within the MDM product to support marketing data. The person in this Leadership role will have joint responsibility of SME training, spot-consultation, and a project-contributor role. The team needs the MDM expertise available to assure production availability and rapid product recovery.
The system engineer is responsible overall technical leadership and responsibility for technical realization of a product release/lifecycle management. The scope includes translation of user requirements, requirements management, technical approach, design specification and interfaces, feasibility of potential solutions, allocation of derived requirements and traceability, design reviews, integration coordination, technical liaison to the program, technical roadmap, defect management/root cause analysis and risk management.
