Responsible for Global Supplier Management. On an ongoing basis, the Commodity Manager will monitor and evaluate supplier performance (quality, delivery, lead time) of all suppliers. Conduct regular strategic business reviews with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement of the supply base.
The Commodity Manager identifies opportunities through Spend data analysis to consolidate, reduce costs and improve quality/processes of AmTrust providers. Manages the sourcing process for Information Technology spend by collaborating with IT business stakeholders. Executes sourcing strategies developed by Category Manager.
Collaborate with appropriate plant functional areas and TNA Procurement Team members to effectively identify synergies & cost savings opportunities, and drive the opportunities to completion, with measurable revenue recognition.
Help direct supplier interaction with R&D, Operations and Quality Control to develop new products, lower overall costs, ensure on time deliveries, maximize volume leverage, minimize supply risk and assure quality.
