The selected candidate will create programs to control a variety of integrated Audio/Video system switching equipment (including Crestron, AMX, and Extron) and Video Telecommunications (VTC) equipment (Tandberg/Cisco, Polycom) included in DoD conference rooms, training rooms, and sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIFs).
Design, engineer and build new web, client/server and mobile applications to provide creative solutions to meet customer needs. Analyze, update and tune systems to identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks.
Performing data checks as needed, to ensure integrity and correctness of data displays and to understand structure and content of data; performing QC/validation of datasets, tables, listings, figures to verify the output.
The position assures that the most feasible, practical and economical means to complete the work are utilized. Provides cost data to support capital planning and budgeting. Monitors and controls project expenditures.
Participate in development and management of project plans related to application development initiatives (project planning and design through testing, implementation and maintenance); provide client support and consultation for IT issues. Should be focused on improving business operations.
Provides full lifecycle database design and software development to include the requirements gathering; design; development; testing; documentation; supporting technical writers and testers; configuration; and maintenance of developed software projects.
