The System Administrator will be responsible for providing technical support and training to DoD customers, with technical issues and questions, provide training to DoD and medical personnel in the use of MC4 systems and applications, maintain databases and applications on client hardware, and collect information regarding systemic problems and report through proper channels.
Provides additional systems administrative support and monitoring of assets such as database servers, file servers, print servers, network access, mobile devices, Active Directory, DNS, Certificate Servers, MS System Console Operations Manager (SCOM), Exchange, virtualization, Solarwinds, Microsoft LYNC, VMware and Continuity of Operations (COOP).
In this role, the selected candidate will manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems;maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems.
Troubleshooting problems and applying resolutions remotely. You will also resolve desktop problems and service requests such as software installs remotely using tools such as sms, remote desktop connection, active directory, etc.
Maintains file servers, network access; documents, analyzes and troubleshoots system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance, prepares system for operational use and support operational tests.
Maintains various Microsoft servers (DC; DHCP; DNS; Exchange; File; Print; etc.); network access and documents. Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance. Capable of preparing systems for operational use and testing environments.
