Oversees the physical hardware, network, windows server environment, virtualization infrastructure, software installations, backup, disaster recovery and support across the production environments in multiple physical locations.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop software components of the global trading platform using Java and Scala; contribute to all areas of team performance including daily scrums and after-action reviews.
This position will be called upon to understand and diagnose OS2200 COBOL application problems to the system software level; provide OS2200 transaction administration for traditional TIP transactions and for OpenDTP (x/Open) middleware transactions.

The candidate will possess a proven track record of optimization, automation and refinement of custom software packages developed in-house in SAS; the candidate must understand ETL concepts and be able to apply technical expertise to system design and development.
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the operations, administration, support and strategic vision of server hardware and software, holding a strong partnership with the Network, Helpdesk and Telecom teams.
