This position is responsible for the safety of the patient, while in the OR. Assists with the supervision of the non-professional personnel in the area. By assessment of the individual patient and procedure, anticipates the needs of the surgical team and provides such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment.
The Registered Professional Staff Nurse has responsibility for providing individualized quality patient care by assessing patient needs through data collection and by designing, implementing and continuously evaluating the plan of care.

In this role, the selected candidate will be providing, coordinating, and evaluating patient care through collaborative efforts, with health team members, in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
In this role, the selected candidate will help patients improve their quality of life by delivering outstanding clinical outcomes; see patients three to four times each week for a few hours at a time, while they receive their treatments.
